Partial Ginkgo Leaf Earrings

I've been on a Ginkgo and Cherry themed jewelry binge and I forgot to post that I made these earrings to match the most recent Ginkgo Leaf Bangle.  I like the design but at the end of the day you can't really tell that they are ginkgo leaves, so I'm going to have to make a pair of those at some point too.

These earrings are available in my shop right now HERE

Or you can come see me and them at My Arts Night Out on May 4th, Old Town General Store.  You can check out the Facebook Event if you need a reminder!

Small Deco Bangle Variation in Brown and Purple

I have a tendency to carry around this small deco pattern in my traveling bead case and these colors happened to be on-hand when I started this piece on Friday.  I am often drawn to brown with purple, it's a nice dark natural color.  I know that I'm starting to think of digging in the dirt, planting more flowers, splitting hostas and starting a larger garden this summer.

Deco Point earrings are available HERE.

I've done this piece in a few different variations, one being with gold edging, purple and greens HERE.  I think the very first one I made was with gold, pinks and greens which inspired a wedding color theme to the owner of that bangle.

This deco bangle can be purchased HERE.

Ginkgo Bangle Variation

I loved the colors of the large Ginkgo Leaf bangle so much that I decided to do a similair bangle, but without the edging.  This makes it more streamline and less expensive.  This is a piece that I created for May's My Arts Night Out at Old Town General Store and can be seen, tried on or purchased there!

You can also purchase this bangle online here:

Clark loves beaded jewelry, it was a struggle to keep him from picking this piece up and running off with it while photographing!

Pinball Bangle

We are headed to the Pinball Expo in Kalamazoo tomorrow and I finally came up with a design this year (I thought about it last year, but it never got on to the graph paper).  I'm still up in the air as to how I feel about it, I think the design still needs more tweaking, but this will have to do for tomorrow.

What would I tweak?  I would have the flippers come to a better point, and I think the gunmetal color of the ball is too dark against the brown background. I should have done the ball in silver to pop it out, or a different background color, but I like the brown and lime green with the bone color of the flippers for a vintage feel.

This bangle can be purchased online at

#CCFF Bangle and Earrings

I'm finally in a place where I can start doing a bit of volunteering here and there.  For the past few years the Capital City Film Festival has been one of my favorite local events.  This year I kept seeing the pattern logo for it and I needed to put it into a bangle.

This bangle can be purchased HERE

When I started drafting this piece it, it wasn't looking great and I realized I needed to put it on an angle.  The peyote stitch (which I use in much of my work) lends itself better to angles.

And so, I got the bangle and a matching pair of earrings done for the Red Carpet event last night!

Earrings can be purchased HERE.

And it's finally spring so the kittens can enjoy the front porch!
