Neutral Trends in my Latest Jewelry

I've been somewhat stumped on colors for Spring 2017.  It seems like anything goes these days as far as fashion is concerned.  I always want to push my color themes to something other than my color comfort zone.  The first round of colors I started in on started looking a lot like my Spring 2015 color grouping.

I decided to pull a more neutral color theme. I just went with my gut which also happened to be the colors that are my go-tos but I'm really happy with this leaf lariat set which has more muted greens, browns and golds.

The below set mixes another favorite color combination of mine. Purple and brown go together all too often in my wardrobe.  I made this delicate set of stripe earrings and a bracelet with a loop and pearl closure.

I just dropped these off to the Lansing Art Gallery among a few other pieces if you'd like to check them out. I think I'll be sticking to these colors for a bit.

Triple Pod Earring Variation II

I usually post a run down for New Year's but it became more of a journal entry, so this coming year I'm just ready for whatever is thrown at me.  My previous post was the first of this style earring. It sold less than a week after I made it and I already missed them.

So here's another variation of the 3 pod earrings, it's a bit larger than the first pair and I decided not to add any accent beads, it preferred this smooth look.

There is a significant amount of dimension to these which has me starting to think about other, larger projects.

Of course, I'm still making smaller earrings for every day wear. I finished these recently and am working on some new leaf sets.
